Girls Do Jazz – Workshop Series

The Girls Do Jazz workshops, directed by Andrea Keller (Head of Jazz & Improvisation at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne), were delivered through a series of online and in-person sessions on seven Sundays beginning in September. Along with Jazz and Improvisation alumni tutors, and undergraduate volunteers, the participants engaged in jazz and improvisation studies covering music ranging from free improvisation, to tunes from the American songbook and those by contemporary Australian jazz musicians. This free concert celebrates Girls Do Jazz coming together to explore this wonderous artform!
