AMELIA EVANS QUARTET

Join award-winning vocalist Amelia Evans and her quartet as they come together to explore and celebrate the Australian Jazz Songbook. Inspired by the female composers and improvisers of the Australian jazz scene, this project seeks to combine vocal jazz artistry and improvisation with original, Australian works from the past and present.

With a line-up of some of Australia’s finest young jazz musicians, Amelia and her quartet will pay tribute to the women of the Australian jazz scene, featuring the music of Judy Bailey, Kristin Berardi, Sonja Horbelt and Michelle Nicolle to name a few.
